NIE Dinner and Dance

I went to the NIE dinner and dance. It's like my very first 'prom'. back then when I was in sec sch, there wsn't any prom and when I was in poly, no one wants to go. This might be my first and only prom. hahaha. Only a few people attended. The graduating students from dip ed only managed to fill up one table.

Saw the girl on the left... Her dress is sexy... Very low cut. In this pic u can't see much... But in actual fact, the front cut is all the way to her belly.


Here's her back. I think I saw the same dress on MTV or something... But never thought that someone will wear it other than for clubbing.


Here's Joan acting cute and asking for a fav from me. She wanted me to go for the pageant on her behalf... crazy... she's prettier than me lor. She's just too shy.


The dinner is a bit boring, even when there's some 'games' and a live band there. so We tried to entertain ourselves at our table.

Dreaming

Two days ago, I visited ITE college East. This was a trip planned by the MOE as part of the induction programme for the teachers'. The school is beautiful. The Dean gave a very long speech trying to convince us that the quality of education in ITE is improving. Ok... I believe that the vocational education is useful for some people.

Then he showed us a video clip. In this video clip, they selected handsome and beautiful pupils to talk about their dreams. One part of the clip caught my attention. I saw three handsome guys sitting on the pool side in a row. One of their legs is in the pool while the other is outside the pool (pretty hard to imagine). They pretended that they are paddling a canoe (no canoe!). Then the camera cut to the face of one of the guys who spoke of his dreams to sucess.

What a joke! This shows that the pupils there only stops at dreaming!

Color me beautiful

Today I attended this workshop entitled 'Color me beautiful' by Jill Lowe. In case you don't know who is Jill, she is an image consultant with many years of experience. She show us this diagram and the entire class laughed. I think she somehow censored the word sex on the picture for the male brain and she used the word 'women' instead. She was trying to point out to us that it is important for women to dress appropriately to attract men.
