My hamster almost died in my hands
Just now, I accidentally dropped my hamster on the floor. At first, one of its front legs went limp and it only moved using the other legs. I don't know what to do. Then it started to bleed slightly from the nose. It was making a funny sound, as if it was trying to sniff back the blood. After a min, it's front leg seems fine and the bleeding stopped.
Luckily, it was fine. This was not the first accident I had with hamsters. The other time, I injured a baby hamster and it lose one of its front legs.

Where to get cheaper groceries
Recently, it was reported in the news that one of the supermarket chains was caught selling expired food. The supermarket that is nearest to my home also belongs to the 'sXXX n saXX' chains. Due to the poor business at that branch, a lot of the vegetables, fishes and meat are not fresh.
The branch near my home sells limited range of products. The grocerises are not really that cheap in comparison to 'fair price', giant and 'sheng siong'.

DIY Takoyaki
My mum bought a packet of takoyaki flour mix and she followed the instructions on the packet to make the takoyaki. It taste better than what is sold at the night market in Singapore.
Here's how to do it->
Ingredients:
300g Takoyaki flour mix (from Daiso)
water 450ml
1 egg
some prawns
100g mozzarella cheese
some dried flaked bonito
Mix part of the flour mix with water and beaten egg until smooth. Add all the water and mixed till homogeneous.
Cut the cheese into small cubes.
Oil and heat the pan. If you don't have the takoyaki pan, you may use a frying pan with the round mould for making round pancakes.
Pour the mixture into the pan. Put in the cheese and prawns as desired.
Wait till it's semi cooked. Use a skewer to turn the takoyaki. Wait for the heat to cook the outside.
Serve with sauce and bonito flakes.

West Side Story - at the esplanade
It's my first time catching a musical. I was rather excited. The musical was fine. somehow, for a person who is used to watching movies, it's a bit hard to adapt. You see, in a movie, after all the editing, they somehow transit from shots from different camera and positioned in different angles. This makes the whole movie more interesting. Musical is a more traditional form of art. You only get to see one angle. Therefore, it can get a bit boring after sometime. But still it's a good experience.
This time I'm sitting at the circles seats. Maybe if I'm on a budget next time, I will try the restricted seats.

end of practicum
Yesterday marks the end of my 8weeks long practicum. almost wanted to kill myself in the process. Never felt so hopeless before. Now it's all over, I still can't relax. I'm so worried that I will not be able to cope after I had become a full-fledged teacher.
When it comes to graduation, I'm always so worried. I'm not sure if my life will be better after leaving school.
